Project overview
The real challenge nowadays isn't really the need to design a network in order to establish connection between devices. Today more than ever protocols are so many that they crash each other in every corner.
The real challenge is to design devices that point to special needs.
In smart home applications we need to wire devices in such a way so we can be safe, reliable, simple, interference immune and fast at the same time.

- 8 data bytes in total
- fixed or variable telegram length
- can successfully manipulate either analog and digital data
- collision detection
- light weight protocol routines can be included in the same processor that is hosting the application
The project is under test for almost 10 years now and I haven't stopped developing, in each project that it's included is getting better.
The BlueWire network has been a very helpful tool. The immunity of twisted pair cabling is exceptional when it comes to cooperation between networks and electrical power installations.
One thing is for sure. In projects like this there is no end. There is always a goal to achieve, and that's the perfect ballance between simplicity and reliability.
